User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-gb) AppleWebKit/312.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/312 Build Identifier: Firefox 1.0.3 In the page at http://homepage.mac.com/johnhood/, clicking the image should load the main index page. In Firefox, the page does not load and the browser helper window pop-ups! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click on image link 2. 3. Expected Results: Loaded main index page as it has done in previous iterations of Firefox

You are sending your page with the wrong mime, try changing your it to text/html on your server. Renaming your file to index2.htm could do the trick too

wfm here Reporter: Is this still a problem for you?
After further research it appears that the problem originated with iDisk automatic synchronisation and not with FireFox. The matter is now resolved. Thanks.
