After upgrade from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3 appear this problem: In W98SE I have on
desktop shortcut file c:\windows\desktop\statistics.url containing

URL=http://cgi.rar.cz/stats/?ip_addr=eth1
=== cut end ===
After click on this shortcut ver 1.0.3 show one extra empty window together with
normal page content after login user mlich pwd supervisor. In previous version
1.0.2 showed Firefox only one window.
It mustn't other Firefox window opened to demonstrate this problem.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create shortcut to URL with autentization dialog
2. Close all firefox windows
3. Click to this shortcut with ver 1.0.3 as default browser

Actual Results:  
In adition to normal window stay opened one empty extra window

Expected Results:  
show only one window, as did all previous versions

This works for me using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr-FR;
rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3

Like effect I see on shortcut to my homebanking, which has no login dialog, but
works on https and uses certificate. Only additional window is not empty, but
identical.

And now, after click to bugzilla URL in mail from bugzilla-daemon was opened two
bugzilla windows too :-)
