Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 Build Identifier: Thunderbird Version 1.0.2 (20050317) I have to mail-accounts (i.e. abc@web.de and xyz@gmx.de) All incoming mail for abc@web.de is moved to the incoming-folder of xyz@gmx.de with a filter-rule of my Thunderbird. If I get a Mail to the abc@web.de, it is moved to my incoming-folder of the account xyz@gmx.de and I get the "You have new-Mail"-Envelope-Tray-Symbol. If I read this new mail, this "New-Mail"-Symbol does NOT dissappear. But if I click on the inbox-folder of abc@web.de (which is empty because all email is forwarded to the other account by the Thunderbird-filter) the Symbol dissappears. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. make two accounts in Thunderbird 2. make a filter-rule that forwards all email from account A to B 3. Send a new email to account A (which is then displayd in the inbox-folder of account B) - you see the "New-Mail-Symbol" in the Icon-Tray 4. Read the new mail in the folder of account B Actual Results: The New-Mail-Symbol does not go away even if the mails are read. Expected Results: The New-Mail-Symbol should dissappear after reading all new mail when using filter-rules for incoming emails with more than one account
