Marco, I'm a bit confused by the fact that you've filed this bug separately, and made a comment on bug 217865 to the same effect. Do you see this issue as another instance of the bug described there or as something that should be handled separately? If you consider it part of bug 217865, then this bug should be closed. Otherwise, please don't complicate matters by bringing this issue up in multiple places. (I left several clarification questions in a comment on bug 217865, since I found that first. Please also respond to them wherever you decide it appropriate.)

Sorry again (argh !) Actually, this is a new bug (I think) Are you using sunbird or calendar? both - sunbird 0.2 and calendar 2005011112 If you're using calendar, which product is it installed as an extension for? calendar_windows_20050111.xpi on FireFox 1.0.2 (and 1.0.3) Can you provide any other details? I'm using Outlook Express to send mails, Windows XP SP2, Is calendar or sunbird depends of mail client ? I tried use Thunderbird (latest version), but didn't work Do regular alarm pop-ups go off on schedule? Alarm pop-up appears only on calendar (or sunbird), but it didnt't send by mail Did emailing ever work? no, it never works =( Are there any errors shown in the javascript console? No, I'm using 1.5.0_02 (downloaded of www.sun.com) On my client Java 1.4.2_06 but no errors was verify

(In reply to comment #3) > Are you using sunbird or calendar? > both - sunbird 0.2 and calendar 2005011112 > > If you're using calendar, which product is > it installed as an extension for? > calendar_windows_20050111.xpi on FireFox 1.0.2 (and 1.0.3) Marco, This is a known issue. As said on the main page of the Calendar website: "Email alarm works only in Mozilla Thunderbird and the Mozilla Application Suite." (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/) In other words, neither Sunbird not Firefox's calendar can send out email alarms. Please see bug 237148, and unless there are any issues I'm not aware of, resolve this bug as a duplicate of it.
