User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-AT; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 MultiZilla/1.7.0.2b Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-AT; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 MultiZilla/1.7.0.2b Save anything using Mozilla and double-click a Windows reference to a _directory_ (or folder; a .lnk file, something like a soft link in Linux/Unix). Mozilla asks if you really intend to overwrite the link file, instead of switching to the referred directory/folder Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Using Mozilla, choose to save anything 2. In the save dialog window, double-click a reference to a directory (which is a .lnk file looking like a folder) Actual Results: Mozilla asks whether or not your really intend to overwrite the .lnk file Expected Results: Mozilla should switch to the referred directory Tested with Windows XP SP2
Have tried this with an recent Nightly-Build running w2k Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050428 Mnenhy/0.7.2.0 {Build ID 2005042820} and I can't reproduce this behaviour. Think this needs some testing with a Branch Build, will do this probably on weekend. Tobias, could you run a Test with an recent Trunk-Nightly-Build on your Machine?
