User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1 In IE or Safari, I am taken to a description of a motorcycle safety training class and a map to the class location. In Firefox, I am just looped back to the same page I started on. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. At the site <http://www.nm-msp.org/>, click on 'Find a Course'. 2. You'll be presented with a chance to enter a ZIP and mileage radius: enter 87110 and leave the default radius at '50'. 3. This takes you to a page of Albuquerque classes. On the left hand side of each class listing is a tiny magnifying glass icon. 4. If I click on this in Firefox, I am looped back to the same page. In IE or Safari, I am taken to a map and class description. Actual Results: Firefox looped back to the same page Expected Results: Revealed a class description and shown a map of the class location
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050412 Firefox/1.0+ I get SITE:, ADDRESS: and DIRECTIONS:.
This seems to be overzealous popup blocking. Using FF 1.0.3 on windows XP, at step 4 I get the yellow bar with "Firefox prevented this site from opening a popup window...". I can click on the yellow bar and select to show the popup, at which point the window containing the map opens. Michael, could you turn off popup blocking, or enter this site as an exception, and try again?
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. The problem is still in. If we are sure that Firefox is doing the right thing, Evangelism?
I can't reproduce this because when clicking the "Find a Course" link yields a "connection has timed out" error. Closing this bug as INCOMPLETE. If you can provide another example site this happens on, please link to it here. Additionally, be sure it still happens in Firefox 2.0.0.3 or later using a new profile. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager
