If the first part of a multipart message is text/html with white text (f.e. a
"BODY { color: white; }" style), any text/plain parts that follow will appear as
white text on white backgroud, thus not legible.

A possible workaround is selecting the text, which will then magically reveal
itself.

FYI, Outlook Express apparently has the same problem.

applied to the text/plain main message.

yep, and bug 76804 was duped against bug 31052, so the same applies for this bug.
