Go to http://www.hollywoodbookcity.com/ and click on the 'TV Scripts' menu on
the left. Now you can see as Firefox displays the page (seems like) but then
just hangs there. You can't click any buttons, not even the Stop button. When
you try to close Firefox, you have to do it with the 'End Program' dialog box
(it means: Firefox is not responding). The same web page works fine in IE.
However, Mozilla crashes too, the exact same way as Firefox!!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. http://www.hollywoodbookcity.com/cgi-bin/TVScripts.cgi?otter=
2. Firefox is not responding (hangs)!!
Actual Results:  
Firefox hangs. Can't even close down normally.

Expected Results:  
Page should be displayed, just like in IE.

It definitely slows things to a crawl, but I don't get an actual hang and can
eventually shut the window.

Yes, you are right. I re-tested it, and I can *eventually* close the window.
However, Mozilla 1.77 does definitely hang on this very same page. (Maybe I
should report this bug to the Mozilla people.) IE, on the other hand, displays
the page without any hickups, as it suppose to...

Mozilla and Firefox share a common back end, which is where this bug is
manifesting itself, so theres no need to file any other bugs for "Mozilla".

This looks to me like just a page with many <option>s in a <select>, so I
wouldn't doubt that there is a bug filed already about improving performance in
this case.
