Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://newolder.beplaced.com/
2. Hear no background sound.
3.

Actual Results:  
Firefox remained silent.

Expected Results:  
Played a background sound.

Thanks Jose, I did search the bugs and found nothing close so I posted. So, it
has been reported before (that html bgsound doesn't play), then what/where is
the fix, please? Ian

When searching, also search for already fixed bugs, that always help to find
other  dupes as well.

There is no fix for this, see bug 226635, comment 1
There is an extension tough that seems to add support for it, see
