From Redist.txt: For Windows XP use the system-supplied gdiplus.dll. Do not install a new gdiplus.dll over the system-supplied version (it will fail due to Windows File Protection). For Windows 2000, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 98, install gdiplus.dll into the private directory of the application not into the system directory. Wrong recommendation in this page: Copy the resulting gdiplus.dll into either the mozilla/firefox bin or your windows/system32 directory. I copied into system32.dll as I´m using nightlies both Mozilla and Firefox, and didn´t succeed, Firefox crashed again, found bug 292222. The attached patch was copied and pasted from doctor to programmers notepad, don´t know if this is a real patch or well formatted. This page was hard to find, after having read the announcement some days aga that firefox could be svg enabled, default off, I just wanted to give it a try. Installed mozilla and firefox nightlies, and crashed on firefox when starting tetris. Using Firefox I got a short warning first time when I tried to load svg, but no clickable link to this page. None of the announcements mentioned that you need to download gdiplus, if you are running some stone-age Windows like win2k or win98. This should be in the release notes.

patch copied and pasted from doctor, don´t know if it is correctly formatted.
Thanks, I've fixed the instructions and also pointed to where the default install directory is located.
