User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 The flash-based menu for games on homestarrunner.com is functional on other OS platforms when using the Firefox browser. Only the Mac OS X build seems to lock up on this page. The entire Firefox browser locks up and I must Force Quit the application. This site is completely Flash-based, and the problem will temporarily emerge inside other pages, but this page in particular causes the entire browser to crash. The entire browser freezes until the mouse button is depressed, but it is impossible to access any functionality in the browser while depressing the mouse button. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to homestarrunner.com 2. Click on the games menu. 3. Depress the mouse button to try to select a game. Actual Results: The Firefox browser freezes and no options are accessible. Depressing the mouse button causes the browser to wake up, but a user cannot operate the browser or any of the pages features while holding the mouse button down. Expected Results: The flash animation should run without any intervention from the user and the browser should not lock up. I am using a titanium powerbook 500mhz running Mac OS X (10.3.8) on 512 MB of RAM. I have downloaded the latest Firefox release and installed the latest Macromedia Flash components, and the issue remains. This issue has been present with previous builds of Firefox as well, regardless of whether I have downloaded a flash plug-in from Macromedia.
