User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050429 Camino/0.8+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050429 Camino/0.8+ When loading webpages with many images, the browser, when each image is finished downloading, will automatically jump to the very top of the page. Try loading a page with many images, then try scrolling down while the page is loading them. The page will jump back to the top each time an image is done. This is using April 29 and 30th builds of Caminmo. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load a page with many images 2. Scroll down while images are loading 3. observe the annoyance Actual Results: Page jumps to the top Expected Results: It should not jump to the top of the page. Instead, it should move up a little to compensate for the newly loaded image (that's the best I can describe it :))
http://www.conceptart.org/forums is a good place to observe this. Load a page in the sketchbook forums and there will be many images.
Sorry... this bug affects the optimized versions of Camino (at least the G5 optimized version) :)
