User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0.3 Firefox crashes when clicking in the Address/URL window. This did not occur until I installed the newest version of Firefox 1.0.3. In prior version 0.8? All worked well. I believe this happens every time I click in the URL window. After the crash Firefox closes and Windows reports an error and asks if I would like to report it to Microsoft. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Firefox. 2. Click in the URL/address window. 3. Firefox closes. Window error is reported. Actual Results: Firefox crashed. Windows error reported. Expected Results: Allowed new URL to be typed in.
Keith, could you provide Talkback incident id of your crash? Also try to reinstall, AFAIK Firefox 1.0.3 was distributed with rv:1.7.7, but your user-agent string contains rv:1.7.5.
