When positioning the cursor or selecting text in a dialog box, the cursor
disappears or goes to the wrong position. I just switched to Firefox because
the problem is so annoying in Mozilla, and Firefox does not have the problems as
badly. Specifically the problem is:

1. I select some text then click the b button to make it bold. Mozilla makes
it bold, then moves the cursor to the top of the text entry box page. Firefox
does the same thing. Maybe this is a bug in PHPBB.

2. I try to select text by dragging from the left to the right, and when the
highlighting gets to the right end of the line, suddenly all the text above it
is highlighted too.

3. I try to use the mouse to position the cursor to the bottom right character
and the cursor disappears. Sometimes if I start typing, text is inserted at the
top of the box, not at the bottom right character.

The cursor control is terribly annoying. I consider this a serious bug that
will alienate users quickly. Please fix it.

Hey, the cursor should go where you position it with the mouse, and it should
stay visible. It definitely should not jump back to the top of the text or
dialog area, and it should not jump up and select text that you did not drag across.
Please try a more recently nightly build and report back whether you still see
this issue. Thanks!

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
