292521 - Closed Tabs fail to disappear and URL fails to change

This has occurred three times since switching to o.8.4. When closing tabs, the
tab remains, minus the circled "x". The URL also fails to change after the tab
is closed, despite moving to different URLs. When attempting to save a Bookmark
after the failed tab closing, the Bookmark is named for the old tab which failed
to close. Eventually, Camino crashes. This has occurred on my white dual USB
500mhz iBook with 384MB RAM running 10.2.8 AND my 1mhz eMac with 256MB RAM
running 10.3.7.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. No special steps to reproduce, but it has occurred with several tabs open (at
least 4)




Expected Results:  
Tabs should have disappeared after they were closed and the URL should have
reflected the current site, not the unclosed tab site. Camino also should not
have crashed.

I read the console crash information and decided to disable PangeaVR and Camino
Extra Preferences. Two of the failed tab closing incidents occurred before I did
this, but I had one more occur since. Screen redrawing is also a problem when
clicking on scroll arrows: the screen fragments and slowly recovers after
minimizing or reloading. This hasn't happened regularly on my workstations since
Camino 0.8.1. I consider this so major that I am moving back to Camino 0.8.2
until the problem is corrected.

WFM in 0.8.4 as well as recent nightlies.

Please provide more detailed steps to reproduce, and if Camino crashes again
while you are experiencing this issue, please *attach* the crash log to this bug.

I sent the latest console info in TalkBack, but deleted it before I read you
email. Sorry. I have moved to the latest nightly build to see if it resolves the
problem that has now occurred in both 0.8.3 and 0.8.4, plus after I trashed
PangeaVR and Camino Extra Preferences. So far, no problems. I also trashed all
my Camino prefs (saved bookmarks and important cookie data). I hope this might
be the problem (old prefs from way back in chimera... yes, I've used Camino that
far back).
