I Applied the latest critical update patch today.  Firefox no longer connects 
to any website.  It simply acts as if I were disconnected, but I'm not, cause 
IE still works.  I hate to have to use IE :(  I suppose I should just reinstall 
firefox, but I am willing to help you debug this.

BTW I am running symantec firewall software, as well as ad-watch monitoring 
software,  I'm pretty positive I clicked "Allow" for all registry entries 
attempted during the update.

I saw a few Mozilla Cleanup Keys getting changed.

Did you tell your firewall to allow the new firefox.exe out onto the internet? I
suspect you didn't.

this is a firewall issue.
