There's no reason to type in all caps.

I'm trying to understand this correctly. You are saying that when you use the
Firefox->Preferences menu, to go to your Firefox preferences, you get redirected
to a different web site (wikipedia)?

This wfm with trunk build on Mac OS X.

Please retest in safe mode (no extensions enabled).
