User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3

I received an IMAP email that Thunderbird displays in the future. The latest
nightly build behaves the same. Here is the relevant header:
"Delivery-date: Sun, 01 May 2005 22:15:27 -0400"
My system is on GMT+3, DST offset of 1 hour.
Now it is May 2nd, 14:07 local time.
That email shows a date of: May 3rd, 05:14.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Expected Results:
display the correct date?!

> I received an IMAP email that Thunderbird

Then why do you report it against Mozilla?
(It may exist in both, agreed.)

> The latest nightly build behaves the same. Here is the relevant header:
> "Delivery-date: Sun, 01 May 2005 22:15:27 -0400"

Can you attach the message, especially the full header part?

> My system is on GMT+3, DST offset of 1 hour.
> Now it is May 2nd, 14:07 local time.
> That email shows a date of: May 3rd, 05:14.

Where? In Thread Pane or Header Pane?
"Delivery-date" is *not* the relevant header; the displayed date is based on the
Date: header. Your correspondent may have his clock set incorrectly.

Also: there is a known issue with Windows and +xxxx timezones:
see bug 173242 comment 2.

On recent Seamonkey nightlies since about October 30 or 29, I have been seeing future-dated mail from one particular source, the Yahoo peace_and_politics discussion group. The date shown using the Seamonkey nightlies is 3 days ahead. The problem is not with this listserv's mail because when I delete the inbox.msf file and start up Mozilla 1.7.12, the index is rebuilt and shows the dates correctly. The problem is with Seamonkey and inexplicably with just the particular discussion group mentioned.

I just saw this problem using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051112 SeaMonkey/1.5a

Here's a copy of the headers of an affected message:
