Once the bandwidth tester is opened, it will not work.

Reproducible: Always
Firefox doesn't contain a bandwidth tester, report this to the extension author.
If it turns out to be fundamentally a Firefox or Mozilla issue then the
extension author will turn this into a bug with enough relevant details to fix.

If the bandwidth tester is a web page then it sounds more like a Firefox
problem, but we'd have to know which one to do anything about it.
