I have tried using your other resources to report problems -- they don't work
for me, because I don't speak "techie". Talk to me like a five year old -- I
don't mind! I am the most cyber-unfriendly person I know; but I've been told
that mozilla is the most user-friendly browser; so I'm here, trying to make this
work! Every time I find a site that won't use mozilla (for example: pogo not
always, but often enough to **** me off), and trend micro; I send their support
people an e-mail telling them to get with the times, and reminding them that
everything IE and msn is just an open invitation for viruses and hijackers ...
they don't seem to care! I want my mozilla firefox to work! Help me make it
work! Dwayne -- lddecker@eastlink.ca
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.I don't know
2.
3.
Actual Results:
with pogo, my entire browser shuts down ... with trend micro, it keeps sending
me to some page to download a netscape plug-in, but the plug-in never works
after I download it ... so that's useless!
Expected Results:
I expect it to work!
Again, I repeat: I ... do ... NOT ... speak ... "techie"!!!

Dwayne, heh. I'll try.
First, do you have any extensions installed ? If so, can you start Firefox in
"safemode" and see if you still crash? You can start in Safemode from the
Start->Programs->Mozilla Firefox->Mozilla Firefox (Safemode) menu.
Second, have you used a user agent switcher to change Firefox's user agent
string? If so, please switch back to Firefox's user agent. If you don't
understand this question, ignore it. ;-)
Third, we've had problems in the past with Pogo related to bugs in Java.
Depending on how things are installed on you computer you may have either
Microsoft's Java or Sun's. You should be using Sun's latest version of JRE 1.5.0.
You can check by looking in "Control Panel".
1. Open My Computer
2. Double Click Control Panel
3. Double Click Java (if its not there, then you don't have it, go to step 8. ;-) )
4. Click the About button to see the version.
5. you don't have 1.5.0_02, then click the Update tab and click update.
7. Reboot and try Pogo again.
8. go to <http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp> and choose the JRE 5.0
Update 3, download and install it.
9. Reboot and try Pogo again.
If this is still a problem, it would help if you could send it "talkback"
incident for the crash. A talkback is a report that is generated when Firefox
crashes. You may need to install Firefox, choose custom installation, and make
sure the Talkback option is checked.
If you have the current version of Java and still crash, please try to figure
what steps are required to reproduce the crash so we can reproduce it as well.
I'm not sure about Trend Micro. If you can reproduce the crash there, please
file a new bug and detail the exact steps needed to reproduce the crash.

Looks to me like this is INVALID as filed. That is, the problems described here have nothing to do with tech evangelism.
Dwayne, if you need more help, I would humbly suggest the support forum:
