Downloaded NetscapeSetup.exe from 
ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/windows/32bit/x86/2000-02-21-17-M14/

closed all other applications
tried installing to a new directory, an existing directory and the default 
suggested directory (c:\prog. files\Netscape\Netscape6).
All crashed after the final xpi file (psm.xpi) was unzipped and the setup 
process was beginning.
running on a Compaq 6000 pentium w/ 440MB free diskspace on install drive 
(d:) (82 mb free on C: drive) 64MB ram, NT 4 US.

try today's installer build.  It doesn't seem to crash for me.

Oddly, I tried again, using the same build, and this time, it worked. The build 
number that got installed is: 19991122808. Musta been ghosts.
