Plugins are broken with this version of Firefox, and Firefox will crash when you
attempt to install plugins. Existing plugins will not function and cannot be
removed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install a plugin

Actual Results:
Firefox will crash for no reason.

Expected Results:
The plugin should have been installed

Mac OS X 10.4
Is this not a problem anymore? A checkin for bug 281988 caused quite a few
problems, but it was backed out soon.
Is this still a problem with a current nightly build?
reporter: can you check with Deer Park Alpha 2 to see if this is still a
problem? There have been a lot of fixes landed since the build you reported with.

Am I correct in assuming you mean Extentions and not plug-ins?

Using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4)
Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0+ (PowerBook) and just installed the evil Greasmonky
0.4a and I didn't crash with the install... and Flashblocker works just fine.
This is WFM with recent testing and reporter has not replied since initial report.
