Seen on Linux Thunderbird trunk build 2005-05-04-06-trunk

-rename or delete Thunderbird profile directory
-Launch Thunderbird to get the Migration Wizard
notice choice to "don't import anything" is missing
-selected NS/Mozilla for import
-selected default profile, Click Okay to begin migration

tested results:
Migration stalls in the progress dialog for Importing items. Cancel and Finish
buttons are inactive.  However, the Window can be closed with the windows [x]. 
This brings up Thunderbird as if launching without migrating anything. (Account
Manager asking for info to create a new account)

Expected results:
Migration completes.  Clicking Finish opens Thunderbird with migrated account
present.

so far Linux is the only nightly available.  I will report back as Windows and
Mac come out.

This is also occuring on Firefox trunk builds on Windows and Mac 2005-04-05-07-trunk

This is working with windows Firefox trunk build 2005-05-04-14-trunk

brendans checkin in bug 281988 must have fixed this
