292983 - When selecting file download location unable to select shortcuts to folders

I have created several shortcuts on my desktop to quickly link to frequently
acessed folders.  When I go to download a file and slect one of these shortcuts
i get the error shortcut to downloads.lnk already exists overwrite Yes/no
clicking yes renames the file to theshortcut name and procedes to downlaod to
the desktop under the new name.  This problem did not occur in the inital
release firefox 1.0

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.created shortcut to a folder on the desktop
2.go to mozilla.org and download the latest release of Firefox
3.go to the desktop and click on the shortcut

Actual Results:  
the error message shortcut to downloads.lnk already exists overwrite yes/no
clicking yes names the file tothe shortcut name and proceds to download to the
desktop under the new name

Expected Results:  
it should have opened the folder the shortcut was pointing to
