Build ID: 2005-04-04-05, Windows XP Seamonkey trunk.

This is the first build I've used since 2005-04-03, so I suspect a regression
from bug 212081.

I see blank tooltips occasionally when doing the following:

1. Load http://my.yahoo.com
2. Click on the Yahoo button on the right toolbar
Sorry for the lame 'screenshot', but it's tough to capture tooltips, since
pressing any keys required (ALT/Print Screen) kill the tooltip's event.
I assume when you say the build is 2005-04-04-05, you mean 2005-05-04-05?

If your last build was 2005-05-03 (not 2005-04-03), then the patch for bug
212081 would have already been included in it. Also the patch would have only
affected XUL components such as the toolbar and such, and not web pages.

What am I meant to see in the 'screenshot'? Does the tooltip appear before or
after clicking the button? Can you isolate the behaviour with a test case or
with more refined repro steps?
Sorry, yes, build 2005-05-04. What's in the 'screenshot' is an empty tooltip
just above and to the left of the drop-down addressing widget, but the tooltip
appears elsewhere in the browser's window, occasionally. It's most readily
reproducible with the above steps, but happens seemingly random with other pages.

The behavior is that the tooltip immediately during page load, after clicking on
the Yahoo toolbar button. The steps I've given are, for me at least, the
easiest way to reproduce what I'm seeing.

Since the fix landed on 2005-05-02, you're absolutely right that this should be
present in the 03 builds (but so far I haven't seen it evidenced there). So,
this means it's likely that other code is causing or exacerbating this.
Summary: Empty tooltip occasionally appear. → Empty tooltip occasionally appears.
Odd that I'm not seeing this with build Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1;
en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050505, and I've been using it for 5+ hours.

Marking WFM. If and when I see it again, I'll reopen or file a new bug.
