User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 Thunderbird, version 1.0.2 (20050317)

Clicking on a link from Thunderbird causes NOTHING to happen. In order to link
to a website I must copy the linkage address any paste it into the address field
of Foxfire and enter.

Clicking in any other mail program (Eudora, for example) immediately takes me to
the desired site as indicated in the linkage.

Is there some parameter in Firefox or Thunderbird that is preventing this from
working properly? Perhaps some other program in my system is interfering with
the expected action?

BTW, Clicking on an email address such as 'djeau@aol.com' works fine!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on any linkage in a Thunderbird message.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Absolutely NOTHING

Expected Results:
Control should be transferred to the indicated website

I have reinstalled both Firefox and Thunderbird in an attempt to resolve the
problem without success.

People using the Thunderbird Forum have also reported the failure.

It seems to me that another program is conflicting Thunderbird to cause the
problem. But which program might that be?
