Those toolbar button icons are ancient. Lets see about getting some new ones.
Checked in new image icons from thunderbird.

We've had like six different versions of the toolbar button icons.  Can we please leave this alone,

The icons now look much better because they're from Thunderbird. Don't want
Grendel to be an eye-sore :).
