Details
steps: 1. create a news account (news.mozilla.org) 2. subscribe to a newsgroup (...) 3. search for subject contains ' ' 4. click save as search folder 5. Create as a subfolder of: Local Folders 6. pick a name 7. save. actual results: a broken folder and a pretty error in jsconsole.

Offline, or with "Search local system": Search works, no error and folder seems fine. V.WorksForMe Reopen if you can reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9.
