Did you install the google webcache in your build / on your system ? It looks like the google cache is crashing...
GWA is not designed to be used with the latest trunk builds of Firefox.
Keywords: relnote
Thank you for filing the bug. I will fix GWA to not crash in trunk builds of Firefox. There's nothing that should change in Firefox on account of this crash. Therefore marking INVALID.

bryner said the fix is being pushed out tomorrow, hopefully we will stop seeing these crashes as users upgrade/download the latest Google Web Acc.
Tomorrow is here. This GWA still crashes newly updated nightly Firefox. For some reason after I delete firefox folder (keeping profile) and reinstall Firefox, there is no crash. googlewebaccclient.exe: version 0.2.52.65-pintail.a googlewebaccwarden.exe: version 0.1.52.57-dogcatcher.a googlewebacctoolbar.dll: version 0.1.52.58-ingot.a
The bug is in GWS and not Firefox. That's also the reason why this bug is marked invalid. It doesn't help to update Firefox.
Alexey: You will need to run GWA in Firefox 1.0.4 or IE for a little while to cause GWA to update itself to the latest version that avoids this crash. Run with GWA in one of those browsers long enough to get the version number to increase beyond 52 (to 54 I believe). Then you can safely return to using trunk builds of Firefox. GWA will be disabled in trunk builds of Firefox for the meantime.
For the record, this is still a topcrasher in early Deer Park Alpha 1 Talkback data. Since this is a Google issue, is there anything more we can do to help users avoid this crash? From what I understand from Darin's last comment, GWA is currently disabled for Firefox Trunk users...right? Therefore anyone crashing with recent Trunk builds needs to use Firefox 1.0.x or IE until their version of GWA is updated to one that has the fix? We should probably make sure this is relnoted for Deer Park releases.

I'm not sure how this could be a Deer Park Alpha 1 crasher unless user's installed this on top of C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\, which should not happen by default. > From what I understand from Darin's last comment, GWA is currently disabled for > Firefox Trunk users...right? Provided users have the latest version of GWA, then yes. > Therefore anyone crashing with recent Trunk builds > needs to use Firefox 1.0.x or IE until their version of GWA is updated to one > that has the fix? Yes, that should work. > We should probably make sure this is relnoted for Deer Park releases. Agreed. Do you know how to make that happen?
Asa or Rafael should be able to take care of the relnotes, but Asa is on vacation...Rafael?
yeah I can relnote.

Reed: Can you please tell me what build of GWA you have installed on your system? You can find the information by navigating to the Help -> About Google Web Accelerator menu item. Thanks!
