Details
problem when doing a local message search on message body if the message is
quoted-printable
I have a message like this:
<snip>
Content-Type: text/plain;
charset="iso-8859-1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
foo=3Dbar
when I view this message, I see "foo=bar". because it is quoted printable, the
= is converted to =3D
when I search by body, I search for "foo=bar", since that is what I see.
but I get no hits.
but I search for foo=3Dbar, I get hits.
can we do anything about this? I guess this could be slipperly slope, for what
about other text parts that might be encoded as base64 or other encodings

to clarify, I am not doing a "ctrl + f" search, I am doing an advanced messages
