site contains alot of browser scaled images. lag is much worse than on other
sites tho. right button menu takes 4secs+ to appear on an amd64 3200+. mozilla
cpu usage 80%+

might be a better test url, cause the lag depends on the image sizes it seems.
i see no problems.
Site is rendered imediately (no 4 sec you talk about.
Reson images load slowly: Theye are huge! They render slow, cause your conection
is to slow. It are images of about 640px width in a thumb of 50px width... no
wonder you think it is slow.

they dont load slow, they lag the whole browser, mouse starts stuttering, menus
take forever to pop up.

No one has confirmed this yet. I don't see any of the symptoms. WFM on pokey old w2k with 512meg amd and XP p4. w2k - Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051020 SeaMonkey/1.1a
