I went to your list of additional search engines. I selected "jeeves" (i.e., Ask
Jeeves). I clicked on your link, and got a box offering to add it. I accepted
it. The addition did not take place (4 or 5 tries).

No change in serarch engine toolbar.
Expected Results:
It should have added Ask Jeeves to toolbar.

This isn't exactly a detailed description. Without more information this will
get marked WFM eventually. Where did you install the search engine? Can you
reproduce this starting from a clean profile?

Likely a permission problem, duplicate of bug 232638 via bug 259072.
