The tooltip that appears for the update button is:
Double-click here to check for updates

it is not needed to Double-click... one click is sufficient

Since you skipped the steps to reproduce (please don't) I'm not certain which
button you're referring to, but the one in the Extension Manager now says "Check
for Updates to your Extensions" and the ones in Options don't have tooltips.
