I'm using the Firefox 1.1 nightly build downloaded on May 10th 2005 - the update
available icon appeared (green arrow beside the menu) yet downloading whatever
it's looking for does not finish - ever. The icon stays put (maybe until
downloading ends)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a new window
2.Wait till the icon appears
3.Try and download
4.Close

Actual Results:  
The downloading fails and the icon remains

Expected Results:  
The download in theory is supposed to end - but even if not so, the icon should
evaporate
