User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 I have bad vision, so I use low screen res [1024x768] and large fonts. When attempting to edit Properties on a Card in the Address book, the bottom portion of the window is cut off and I don't have access to the 'Save' button, so I can't save my changes. Workaround: Set my screen to a higher res. This works, but then I have to read my screen with a magnifying lens. 8-) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set low screen res [1024.768] and crank up system fonts to Large [120 DPI] 2.Try to save edited Properties for a Card in Address book. 3.You can't because there's no save button... Expected Results: If you can detect that the Properties window doesn't fit on the screen, allow the part of the window containing editable fields to be scrolled. Save button should be visible at all times.
Summary: Can't edit Properties on card in Address Book - low sceeen resolution. → Can't edit Properties on card in Address Book - low screen resolution.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. September 27, 2005: This is still a problem in version 1.5 Beta 1 (20050908) I consider this to be the kind of usability issue that must be addressed if Thunderbird can be seen as a viable tool for people with disabilities [and thus need to operate their machine in a low screen res]. -jg-
