For new extensions there is no download statistic available. For example:
https://do-not-add.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?application=firefox&category=Newest&numpg=10&id=698

For older extensions the download counter still works. I think this bug exists
since you changed the url to https://do-not-add.mozilla.org .

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to mozilla update page
2. select a new extension
3. scroll to the bottom of the page and notice that the download counter shows "0"

Expected Results:
show a value greater than 0
Well, we've changed the DNS back now.
I have this problem appear with my own extension as well.

It has been there for months now, with many people downloading it (I've tried
myself on several computers). The download completes successfully, but the
counter for the theme is just sitting there at 0 on the detail page. On the main
listing of all the themes, there is no information pertinent to download
statistics anywhere. Could someone please get this minor issue over with,
whenever they have the spare time to breathe a little bit?!

This is not extensions as Acid Burn r1 (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/453/) is a theme.

This is not "new" addons as the download count on Online Bookmark Manager Synchronizer (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2469/) works just fine.

This is, however, a problem.

Summary: Download statistics does not work for new extensions → Download statistics not working for some addons
*** Bug 295906 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Well, the problem got worse ~1 week ago. The download counter stopped working for quite a few extensions, amongst them Adblock and Adblock Plus - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1865/ currently shows 3558 downloads, https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/10/ shows 3550 downloads. Other addons stayed unchanged - like Adblock Filterset.G Updater that is suddenly in the Top10 with 40136 downloads. That's a little hard to believe. What is going on? I haven't found any evidence of relevant changes within the last two weeks.
I hope it's just bug 335794, but the fact that this bug says only some add-ons are affected means I'll mark it as a dependency rather than a dupe

Acid Burn r1 doesn't even install for me because of an invalid GUID - perhaps that's our problem? I also wonder how on earth it got approved... Hrm.. was approved by Alanjstr some considerable time ago. Maybe Firefox wasn't so strict with GUIDs then or something?

Wladimir, adblock and adblock plus seem to have healthy download counts to me - is this still a bug?
Target Milestone: 1.0 → ---
Well, the download numbers for Adblock Plus are everything but healthy at the moment - but the caching is gone so they should recover soon. Adblock's download counter stopped being cached a while ago for some reason.
I meant healthy as in they changed between yesterday and now, so they're moving.

If you don't think this is fixed by bug 335794, please comment or reopen.
