User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/312.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 This bug was reproduced in both Firfox 1.04 and Mozilla 1.7.7 for Mac OS X 10.3.9. The bug does not show if the java animation is in another window behind the active window. The Java animation applet stays active and playing. Other tab window elements do not. I'm running: Java 1.4.2 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to: http://radar.wrh.noaa.gov/radar/loop/DS.p19r0/si.kdax.shtml 2. sart the animation if stopped 3. Open a new tab(blank or with another URL) 4. Enjoy the show. Actual Results: The java animation on the "underlying" tab shows through onto the front most tab. Expected Results: Not show the animation on the "underlying" tab. It doesn't in Safari Browser.
