User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 Last week I went to my usual eBay login page to look at my auction and when I went to login I got the following message in a pop-up window... ".....Firefox and srv.main.ebayrtm.com cannot communicate securely because they have no common encryption algorithims....." I can send a screenshot of this message if wanted. please email if needed. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1.unsure how to reproduce as it has not happended since. 2. 3. Actual Results: I went back and made sure I had actually went to ebay's home site and then proceeded to login into "My Ebay". The SSL 'lock' was at the bottom of the web page during the entire time. Expected Results: it should have doen nothing. PC spces - Win2000 Pro SP4, 512MB ram, 40GB hdd, 32mb video, 10/100 LAN, using a private Class A network through a firewall appliance, to an unrerstricted T1 line to Internet. Mozilla "ThunderSnake"/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3
We've gotten some reports of this but can only assume it's an issue with ebay's server configuration. Most of the time it works, and the Firefox code doesn't change.
