the megatokyo rss feed: http://www.megatokyo.com/rss/megatokyo.xml

the problem is:
when i add the feed, everything is ok.

but then, for example next day..
thunderbird checks the rss feed for new items, and reports that there are no new
ones.

but if i open the megatokyo.xml file manually, i can see that a new entry is in
the feed.

even doing a "get messages for the account" does not help.

and then, after approx. 1 day, i get the new entry.

I noticed a similar effect.  This only happens when the feed is "generated" on 
refresh and/or caused by changes in the item ordering or when items no longer 
exist.  I'll try to get more information but someone please look into feeds 
generated every time a feed is visited (e.g. the feed can change and it's not a 
file)
