Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050512 Firefox/1.0+ Things like mIRC have Ctrl+Break in case a script goes out of control in some endless loop. In slower machines, there are also things that just slow the browser down. CTRL + Break (which I searched bugzilla for as 'ctrl break' and 'ctrl pause') would be able to do this, stopping scripts and preferably other plugins as well.

This is basically the same as bug 51139 and bug 61098.
OS: Windows XP → All
Hardware: PC → All
Summary: [RFE] Ctrl + Break should stop all scripts + plugins → Ctrl + Break should stop all scripts + plugins

At least a dependency on those bugs. Those bugs'll create a backend for this.

While this does sound useful, I think it'd probably best be suited for an add-on.
