Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.3 StumbleUpon/1.9995
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.3 StumbleUpon/1.9995

I tried to get some new extensions for my browser. A page came up asking that I
needed to upgrade too 1.04. I did this a few day ago I thought, but did it
again. After the install, I tried again to go to the extensions page, and the
same request to upgrade. I did it one more time with the same results. I tried
clearing all the cache. I also added a new profile, at this point I could use
1.04, but with non of my prior extensions/themes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Tools-Extensions-Get New extensions
2.Upgrade page comes up
3.Upgrade-and start at step one....

Actual Results:
Same results as step 1, wanted to to upgrade.

Expected Results:
It should have taken, and I could get more extensions/themes.
Are you sure the upgrade process completed successfully? Your user-agent string
still says "Firefox/1.0.3".
Do you see a pref with general.useragent.override in "about:config" (enter it as
URL) ?

Type in about:config in the URL address and then look for

general.useragent.VendorSub and make sure it reads 1.0.4

I had the same problem because of once using the StumbleUpon extension installed.
