You get a prompt about the msg not containing any valid email addresses because
we check for that before we resolve the mailing list.
Target Milestone: --- → Thunderbird1.1
Attached patch proposed fix — — Splinter Review 
move the code to after we expand the mailing lists as a side effect of
DetermineHtmlAction()
