after viewing a page, the back button functions properly, but the pag viewed
reloads after several seconds unless I very quickly go elsewhere. Eg. I view an
Ebay item, back into the listings and the item reloads almost immediatly. This
occurs across all sites including this one. I have been using Firefox for a year
and this is a new problem. I did a system restore back to before the problem
arose but it did not fix.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.view a page in any web site.
2.go to another page in taht site
3.back button or backspace and the last page viewed will reload after a few seconds

Actual Results:
see above

Expected Results:
after activating the back space/ back button, the previously viewed page should
have remained on the screen.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
