Getting an error window with this text " XPCOM Event Receiver". After that the
only way out is to reboot. Never had this problem with previous version 0.9 to
1.03. Also seems to be much slower when clicking a link.
Hardware used Sound Blaster Live, GeForce4 MX, Dual Pentium III mother board.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Just browsing, just can't link it to a specific website. Happens often at BBC
news. http://news.bbc.co.uk/
3.
Firefox can't crash or hang/freeze winNT/2k/XP because Firefox is a userpsace
application. Only drivers and/or hardware problems can do that.

It also doesn't matter if you get this only with Firefox, it's still a driver
problem.

You should try run FF in the safemode :
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode

-> invalid (wfm with FF1.0.4, System freeze is no Firefox bug)

BTW: Your UA string is horked. Please open "about:config", search for a line
"useragentoverride" and remove it
