The search plugins offered to en-GB users from Firefox Central could be more relevant, e.g. Cambridge Dictionary would be preferred to Mirriam-Webster.

Note that the URL provided <http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/central#central-engines> is en-US specific. I would be happy to (once again) provide localised web content, if I could have an assurance that it would be used. I provided the required localised web-content <http://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Firefox_Extras> in time for 1.0, only to see it left unused.
I'm sure all us non-US users would be grateful for localised content. Anyone not in the US will prefer the Cambridge dictionary, for example, as that is what British English and International English use. Th UK, Australia, Canada, India... to name just the largest.
