294181 - Smileys misplaced in Bidi text

In right-to-left text in mail and editor, smileys appear at the wrong location.
Part of this is probably bug 258928, but there also seems to be a problem with
the z-order of the background image.

Simon do you happen to have a copy of Nvu lying around, if so can you tell me if
this happens in Nvu, if not then I may see how hard trying to back-port whatever
patch would be.

Nvu does not handle smileys (I mean you can't insert them and Nvu does not show
them)

Following the fix to bug 299065 (and therefore bug 258928), the testcase here no longer displays a bug.
Simon, do you want to keep this open for the z-order issue? If so, perhaps you should attach an updated testcase which demonstrates this problem.

I have no idea how to reproduce the z-order bug now that the overlapping bug is fixed, so I think it is moot.
