294245 - error [-618] during extraction of libplc4.so on firefox 1.0.4 unstall

On a hoary, trying to update from 1.0.2 to 1.0.4. 
I have erased /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/* and start install with
firefox-installer-bin in the /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/. 
everything goes well till I get this message "error [-618] impossible to extract
xpidstub library" during extraction of libplc4.so and " (maybe not exactly coz I
have translated it from french).
I tried to install a from differnet path but failed again. I have uninstalled
the previous firefox 1.0.2, try not to uninstall but nothing good happens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.cp firefox-installer to path /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/
2.double click on firefox-installer-bin
3. follow the steps till the message

I'm a dub from dumb nation, the king of kings.
I try desesperatly to use the bin and at least I tried the .sh one and
everything was fine.
