When pages have a link with an href of "#", IE understands it as "set the current page as the browser's home page". As far as I know, Mozilla does not support this behaviour. 2. The lack of back and forward buttons on popup windows can be frustrating sometimes (e.g. you clicked on a link that took you to an advert by accident, and you want to back to filling in a form that you were halfway through). I've noticed some popup windows are furnished with toolbars, but the buttons would be quicker (and look nicer!). (In reply to comment #1) > multible issues per bug are invalid > a "#" in an URl is an Anchor and shouldn't do anything > this seems to be a wontfix per bug92022#c9 It's not really the "#" href that did it, but the onClick event on the same tag (calling setHomePage). But anyway, 50 million Firefox users will be happy that drive-by homepage jacking isn't possible anymore.
