If the user customizes the toolbars and removes the searchbox by dragging it off
into the customize dialog the file browser.js generates a javascript error. My
guess is that methods that attempt to use searchbox return with a null value
since the searchbox has been removed and the object no loner exists. Methods
that use searchbox should check for null before trying to access it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Pull searchbox off into customize dialog
2.restart firefox
3.javascript error occurs

Actual Results:  
Firefox appeared stable but a javascript error resulted

Expected Results:  
check for null objects before accessing searchbox UI component
