User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 This is a problem we are beginning to see quite alot on Archives.org in that ppl are using firefox to download movies from the "Feature Films" Section and getting complaints that firefox incorrecty reports the file size and that there is no multithread and that it downloads in half of the speed of IE. I know this was a problem a few years back and was fixed but it seems this has become an issue again in the increased popularity of the new browser. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.select any title of your choosing to download 2.click to download 3.see what's going on Actual Results: status bar of download incorrectly reports file size and amount of time to download and half the speed of IE Expected Results: pretty much do as like or better than IE
wrong file size is bug 260741
I believe "multithreading" is bug 40106. Please only report one issue per bug in the future. Duping to the first one mentioned.
